Our partner company specialises in creative web design and promotional campaigns. Promotion brings visitors to the site. But where do they actually come from? Our partner, site owner and agencies need a tool to estimate effectiveness of their efforts.

When our partner starts a promotional campaign for their client, they may use certain methods to increase traffic to this site. Typical methods are banner advertisement and direct email shots. Surfing the web or reading email messages, people follow these links and get to the site. Later on, while assessing effectiveness of the promotional campaign, it is useful to have statistics on the links that generated the largest traffic.

Our Solution
We created a convenient and powerful tool named the Observatory System.

The Observatory supervises its client sites and counts how many times they have been called by visitors. A small invisible portion of code is placed on the client's web page. This allows the Observatory system to count every visit to this page.

The Observatory only counts pages opened on a browser thus providing authentic data. It can collect not only the number of visits but also details of where the visitor has come from.

The Observatory system provides an intelligent interface for getting results. User can apply a powerful filter to retrieve results for various date ranges.

The client may login to the Observatory from any computer and investigate statistical results of his promotional campaign.

The Observatory system has an administrative interface allowing users to create supervised campaigns and manage them. Also the administrator can control user accounts on the system, he can add, delete and modify them, and manage their permissions to the campaigns reports.
